Companies House
Companies House is the registrar for every limited company and LLP in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It publishes the register entry, the officers, persons with significant control, the full filing history and the filed documents themselves, including annual accounts.
Identifier
Company number
8 characters. England and Wales: 8 digits (00445790). Scotland: SC + 6 digits. Northern Ireland: NI + 6 digits. LLPs: OC + 6 digits. Short numbers are zero-padded for you.
Examples: 00445790, SC123456, OC301980.
